computer-repair.uk is operated by KTechnology Solutions Ltd, Springfield Farm Shop, East Charleton, Kingsbridge, Devon, TQ7 2AR. That company also publishes the Kingsbridge page. Every other listing is a business that submitted itself.
Who decides
The operator named above is the controller for listing details submitted on this site. This notice covers the listing form. It does not describe any other site.
What the form stores
The form stores the business name, the towns you name, the services, the address or service area, the website, the email, the public phone if you type one, the opening hours, and the description. It also stores the time you agreed to that storage and to the listing terms, whether the listing is waiting, approved, or rejected, and the six month end date once it is approved. A secret keep-link is emailed to you. The database stores a hash of that link, and may store an encrypted copy so a later email can repeat it.
The phone field can be left empty. An extra website field that is not shown to you must stay empty. A filled copy of that field is refused and is not stored.
Why
The details are stored so the directory can decide whether to publish the listing, show the published fields on the town page and the listing page, and email the address you gave when the submission is received, approved, kept, or ended.
Who sees it
After approval, visitors see the business name, towns, services, address or service area, website, email, public phone, opening hours, and description. Before approval, those fields are not on the public pages.
The email address on the form receives the messages about that listing. If an admin email address is configured for the directory, that address receives a moderation message with the business name and a link to approve or reject it. Submissions are read only by KTechnology Solutions Ltd staff.
If a webhook address is configured, the directory also posts the business name, email, towns, status, plan, end date, and the keep and review links to our customer records system when a listing is submitted, approved, rejected, kept, or ended.
If the Turnstile keys are configured, Cloudflare runs a spam check on the form under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not keep the check result. When the keys are not set, the check is not loaded.
When it leaves the public pages
Six months after approval the listing is left off town pages, its public profile, and the sitemap, unless you use the keep link to start another six months. Listing data, the email address, and the keep-link are kept for 12 months after a listing leaves the public pages, then removed. Rejected submissions are removed within 30 days.
